1) Acronis True Image 11 Home Build 8053 fails to edit a task to backup data to a Backup Location on a network share.
Annotation: Acronis True Image 11 Home crashes on attempt to edit the task created to backup data to the Backup Location on a network resource. Such behavior appears only in case the network credentials have been specified upon creating that Backup Location.
Solution: The issue will be fixed in Acronis True Image 12 Home.
2) Network share quotas are exceeded. Error "Cannot open archive for writing".
Annotation: You created a Backup Location on a network share/network drive, but the quotas for it are always exceeded. In the operation logs there are errors Cannot open archive for writing.
Solution: If the issue is with Acronis True Image 10.0 Home, then download a trial version of Acronis True Image 11 Home. If the issue does not occur with Acronis True Image 11 Home, then you are eligible with free upgrade to Acronis True Image 11 Home. Contact Customer Service and describe the bug.
If the issue is with Acronis True Image 11 Home, then download the latest build. This should fix the issue.
3) Program freezes during "Files and Folders" or "System State" Backup
Annotation: With backup compression enabled, Acronis True Image 11 Home freezes when trying to back up several thousand files and/or folders. With backup compression enabled, Acronis True Image 11 Home freezes when trying to back up System State in Windows Vista. In both cases, invoking Windows Task Manager shows Acronis True Image 11 Home as Running. This is a bug in the compression algorithm of Acronis True Image.
Solution: The only way to solve it is to set compression level for the backup process to "None" (Tools -> Option -> Default Backup Option -> Compression level -> None).
4) Backup archive corrupted. Error "Archive computer .closed"
Annotation: "Archive computer .closed" message in log when create backup system partition to Backup Location.
Solution: Fixed in the latest build of the program.
5) Failed to backup file or folder.
Annotation: File/folder backup of network share fails.
Solution: Fixed in the latest build of the program.
6) Windows Search Asks for Password When Running Over a Password-Protected Acronis True Image Archive. "The backup archive you have chosen is password-protected".
Annotation: When using Windows Search utility to find some data on a drive that contains Acronis True Image Home password-protected backup archives, the following password prompt is displayed:
Even if the search criteria, namely all or part of the file name, do not match Acronis True Image backup archive file name, the same prompt will appear once the search utility stumbles over the archive.
Solution: The issue will be fixed in Acronis True Image 12 Home.

7) After installing Acronis True Image Home 2009 all card readers are disabled.
The bug concerns to Acronis True Image Home 2009 build 9608 it will be fixed in the next build. The only solution is to uninstall Acronis True Image Home 2009.
