How does Soundtaxi Pro+VideoRip work? How to convert DRM protected files to unprotected audio/video files?
The task is very easy, just run Soundtaxi Media Suite -> click Soundtaxi -> select files (you can choose audio or video files). The conversion will start automatically so you have to choose encoder for audio files beforehand under the Settings. As the output audio formats you may select WAV (without compression), MP3 (MPEG Layer-3), M4A (MPEG4 AAC), WMA (Windows Media Audio 9).

When conversion is completed you can play original file right from the program or play converted file just for comparison. You can also copy files to iPod or burn them to CD/DVD discs.

When I started this application for the first time I faced an issue, see the screenshot below. The error message was: “RipTiger has detected that your system lacks components required to convert web video or watch it with Windows Media Player.” To run the application properly just agree to download and install RipTiger extras.
The main window of the program has the following options:
On/Off. Use this button to download any video automatically while watching it in your browser.
Add url. Copy/past any url with video to download it.
Convert video. When you download video you can convert it to any supported output format.
Remove download. Removes video files you downloaded.
Settings. Choose folder for download video and select output video formats.
